Any child suffering from a doubtful rash, sore throat or discharge from the eyes and nose must be kept at home until the symptoms have disappeared.
For sickness and diarrhoea your child must be clear of all symptoms for 48 hours before returning to the nursery.
Please ensure that you indicate where you can be contacted during nursery hours and inform the nursery of any change in contact details.
The Manager and Assistant Manager reserve the right to remove your child to hospital in the event of an emergency. We also reserve the right to refuse admittance of your child upon arrival if we believe that he or she is unwell.
The nursery must be informed if your child is to be absent through illness or on holiday. This should be done by telephoning the nursery or email via nextstepsnursery@next.co.uk.
Swapping of sessions is not available and any additional days will be charged at the normal fee.
Long term absence of the child from the nursery other than for protracted illness will be charged at the normal rate.
Please speak to us if your child is off or likely to be off with an illness for an extended period of more than 2 weeks and we will be able to arrange a reduction of 50% in fees for the period over 2 weeks (please note a Dr’s/Hospital letter will be required as proof).
