You could earn up to 30 hours funded childcare if you are working. Check the eligibility below. This is based on:
Your child’s age and circumstances: The number of hours per week of funded childcare you can get depends on the age of your child. If your child is:
9 months - 2 years old, you can get 30 funded hours Working Parent Entitlement
3 to 4 years old* you can get up to 30 hours funded childcare.
(*15 hours funded standard Universal & 15 hours extended Working Parent Entitlement).
If your child turns 9 months, 2/3 years between 1st April - 31st August: AUTUMN - 1ST SEPTEMBER (Recommended time to apply: 15th June - 31st July)
If your child turns 9 months, 2/3 years between 1st September - 31st December: SPRING - 1ST JANUARY (Recommended time to apply: 15th Oct - 30th Nov)
If your child turns 9 months, 2/3 years between 1st January - 31st March: SUMMER - 1ST APRIL (Recommended time to apply is 15th Jan - 28th Feb)

Government funding is intended to deliver 15 or 30 hours a week of free, high quality, flexible early education and care.
The 15 or 30 hours must be able to be accessed free of charge to parents; that is, there must not be any mandatory charges for parents in relation to the free hours.
Government funding is not intended to cover the costs of meals, other consumables, additional hours or additional services. Providers can charge for consumables, meals and snacks, extra activities and additional hours.
